We start and finish from our lodge in the tiny Inuit community of Kulusuk. Over a week, we will trace a route that links wild shorelines, arctic char streams, tundra, low passes and alpine mountains, each night setting up camp in view of the fjord. After four days, we will reach the headwaters and vast tidewater glaciers of Sermiligaq Fjord. We've timed this trip to coincide with the long hours of light and nutrient-rich waters of summer, a highpoint for this ecosystem, whales (minke, sei, fin, humpback, orca, cachalot) and many birds migrating here to feed, the tundra and arctic-alpine plants completing life cycles in a few short months.

Led by internationally qualified guides in partnership with some of the most respected Inuit elders, we hope to share an insight into a place and culture that have completely captivated us, from our small village to the vast calving faces of Sermiligaq Fjord.
